Egg Curry Dhaba Style
Egg curry dhaba style is a dish made by stewing boiled eggs in a spicy sauce, generally made of tomatoes, onions, and spices similar as cumin, coriander, and garam masala. It's popular in India and can be served with rice or bread.
Ingredients you need to cook:
- 6 large eggs
- 2 medium onions, diced
- 3 diced cloves garlic
- diced - inch piece of ginger
- 1-2 green chilies, sliced
- sliced large tomato
- 2 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp cumin powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- 1 tsp garam masala
- Salt to taste
- 1/4 mug heavy cream or coconut milk
- Fresh coriander leaves for garnish
Instructions for Egg Curry Dhaba Style:
- Boil the eggs until hard- boiled and also peel and keep away.
- In a large saucepan heat oil and add diced onions, ginger, and garlic. Cook until golden.
- Add diced tomatoes and cook until soft.
- Stir in the spices( coriander powder, cumin powder, turmeric powder, paprika, and garam masala) and cook for a minute..
- Add in the boiled eggs and cook for 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in the cream or coconut milk and bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and let the curry simmer for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with rice or bread, garnished with fresh coriander leaves. Enjoy!
