Ingredients need to make Gulab Jamun
- 1 mug milk powder
- 2 tbsp each- purpose flour
- 2 tbsp semolina( sooji)
- 2 tbsp ghee 2 tbsp milk
- oil for deep frying For sugar syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 mug water
- 2- 3 green cardamoms( elaichi)
- 1 tsp rose water( voluntary)
Instructions for making Gulab Jamun/ Gulab Jamun recepie/ Gulab Jamun In English
- In a mixing bowl, combine milk powder, flour, and semolina(suji).
- Add ghee and blend until well combined.
- Gradationally add milk and knead into a smooth dough.
- Divide the dough into small bomb- sized balls and set away.
- In a separate bowl, add sugar and water.
- Bring to boil and stir until sugar dissolves in water.
- Add cardamoms and rose water.
- Let it poach for 5 minutes.
- In a deep frying pan, heat oil over medium heat.
- Gently drop the dough balls into the hot oil and shindig until golden brown.
- Fry the small balls and soak in the sugar syrup for at least 30 minutes.
- Serve warm garnished with diced nuts, if asked . Enjoy your delicious Gulab Jamun!
